When the idea of the Lake Cherokee Veterans Memorial was a glimmer in our eyes, many Lake residents supported the Memorial through contributions to CWC. CWC held this money in a fund until Summer of 2024 when the fund was transferred to the newly formed Lake Cherokee Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
